Art X Style : Nike Art Gallery Exhibition

Hey pals. I believe the day is going great. The other day i got invited to the Nike Art Gallery Exhibition, and it was a thrilling moment for me. I'm a great enthusiast of art, music, poetry, and style because i believe these are avenues at which one can express their true individuality without having to say a word.

The Nike Art Center for Arts and Culture, which is owned by Chief (Mrs) Oyenike is located at Lekki, and its a mansion that exudes everything art,  from sculpture, painting, handcraft, to prints.

There were so many collections and items of art to appreciate, but i would share a few that caught my interest.

The day of the exhibition was a Sunday, so i decided to go with an Ankara print blazer, a white shirt and black pants. To be honest, i'm yet to incorporate traditional pieces into my style, but i hope to break that jinx and try more of traditional pieces as time goes on.

Blazers are one of my favorite versatile pieces, as it goes well with both the formal and casual style, and nothing speaks volume of style if it has an ethnocentric vibe to it.

The Nike Art Gallery Exhibition was a great day for me to appreciate art at its fullest, and to draw inspirations on how to incorporate art into my style. Believe me when i say Nike Art Gallery is somewhere worth visiting.

“Style is the answer to everything.
A fresh way to approach a dull or dangerous thing
To do a dull thing with style is preferable to doing a dangerous thing without it
To do a dangerous thing with style is what I call art"
