Hello People,
How are you all doing. I'm quite sure we are all thankful that today is Friday, and getting all hyped up for the weekend. I look forward to weekends (well, except when I'm working that weekend), because it gives me time to rest, read up a few articles, and get social (sometimes).
I'm yet to straighten out the kinks of my timing and schedule for blogging, but I'm getting there. I think I'm officially done being lazy about this.

Today, I'm sharing one of my favorite style/outfit...Denim.This post has been in my archives for a long while (because laziness), but the cool thing about denim is that it never goes out of style. Denim is more or less a major staple.

Sometime ago, i talked about my love for denim here, and how much i loved denim, so i figured i should take things up a notch and go with double denim.

The thing with double denim styling is that it can be somewhat tricky, based on the fact that they are of the same fabric, thus there's a high chance of looking tacky on double denim.

With that in mind, i opted for contrasting shades of denim. The choice of contrasting denim shades was done to bring about an aesthetic appeal, while drawing attention away from the fact that they are of similar fabric.

Double Denim styling can be well accomplished if you finish the look with solid colors, like i did with the black Fedora hat, and black formal shoes. The collar brooch, which i got from James, was to give the outfit a little bit of detailing

I'd like to thank you all  for reading, and would love to hear your take on double denim and my style.

Are you an advocate of double denim.? How do you style your double denim.? . Please do share with me.

Thanks, God bless, and have a great weekend ahead of you.

  1. Awesome post! I'd probably thrown on a waist coat with prints (not the kind that would clash with the ensemble) and a pair of Chelsea boots.
